You need to knowInstagram is testing a new achievement system that creators can use to reward themselves for their Reels activity.

Instagram has begun to roll out scheduled posts as well as achievements to give creators more options on the platform.

According to Instagram’s Creators account both scheduled posts as well as achievements were highly requested features, based on user feedback. While scheduled posts have already begun to roll out, it should become global in the coming weeks.

Instagram has a new feature that allows creators and business accounts to schedule posts up to 75 days ahead of time. These posts can be Reels, photos or Carousel posts.

To set the date when a post should go live, users must create it first. Before clicking “schedule”, users can choose the date and time when the post will be published. This will allow creators and businesses to plan and execute content strategies more effectively.

Instagram also sees its new achievement system a way of rewarding and celebrating its creators. These new achievements will be based on their Reels activity and will reward them for collaboration with other creators.

Creators can also earn achievements based upon how interactive their TikTok-esque Reels. For example, if they are using Instagram’s polls via Reels, quizzes and other methods, this would be an example. A creator who participates in a trend or discussion on the social media platform using an audio effect that is currently popular may be awarded an achievement.

Creators will receive a notification via Meta-owned platform if they have received an achievement through a Reels post. You can see the achievement and also view the others so you can decide how to chase it down. You can find them by tapping the three dots menu on any reel.

With the latest update to Instagram’s achievement system, creators now have a global testing phase.
